For firms and compliance teams

What your advisor is agreeing to.

A plain summary for compliance officers and firm leadership reviewing an advisor’s participation in The Wealth Channel.

What we are

An educational media network. The Wealth Channel produces and distributes general financial education featuring credentialed professionals.

What we are not

Not an advisory firm, not a broker-dealer, and not a source of individualized advice. We do not solicit, recommend or sell securities or advisory services.

Where advice lives

Inside your firm. Viewers who want help with their own situation are pointed back to a qualified professional. Client relationships stay with the advisor’s firm of record.

Controls

How review works in practice.

Approval before distribution

Advisor content is not published, aired or shared until the approvals your firm requires are complete.

Your disclosures, your wording

Firm-specific disclosures are attached to the advisor’s content as your firm specifies.

Records and versions

Version history and approval records are kept for each piece of content.

Topic boundaries

Restricted topics can be excluded from an advisor’s programming at the firm’s direction.

Name and likeness

An advisor’s name, image and firm affiliation are used only as approved.

Changes and exit

If a firm withdraws approval or an advisor changes firms, we work with the firm on how existing content is handled.

Specific terms are set out in each participation agreement. This page is a summary, not a contract.

The review packet

Everything in one request.

Ask for the packet and we’ll send the documents firms typically need to evaluate participation, including the participation agreement, a description of the review workflow, sample content, and the entity and ownership information your policies require.
